In the world of house music there are simply tens of thousands of DJ's. let me introduce you to one that we believe is a little different. Born in Harpenden, Hertfordshire UK in 1980 Matt Oakey was brought up as a musician, playing the Piano, Trumpet and Guitar. At 16 he found a love for dance music and at 19 decided he to wanted to step behind the decks to bring together his own blend of sounds.

10 Years on and Matt has developed what is proving to be an incredibly unique style. He has retained his passion for melody and harmony from his musical background but has gel'd this with an unmistakable flair for energetic, encapsulating beats that capture your imagination and soul.

Matt plays primarily House music and keeps a very open mind with regards to different genre's of house. He regularly plays sets which can bridge Funky, Electro, deep, Underground and Dirty house. Currently breaking into the international circuit with huge interest coming from Canada, Egypt, Malaysia, South Africa, America and all across Europe, Matt's passion for both the music and the dance music industry has earned him support from some huge names in the industry including Dtox Twins, Carl Cox, Danny Rampling, Houseplayerz, Graham Gold, David Dunne, Ted Nilsson and Es Paradis resident MDK.

Matt has built a reputation for putting together incredible mix albums and has self branded these under the title "i-Mix". All are available FREE to download direct from this website.
